Boat Eye Hook rusted nuts - how to remove

Motor only fires up when key is turned to off

did you replace the key switch at any point? your motor needs an outboard key switch (magneto ignition)....shorts to ground to kill, open to run sounds like you have a powered ignition key switch.... open to kill, connect +B to ign to run

    winterizing question

condensation doesnt need a motor, just a big old chunk of iron (or concrete, etc) and a temperature change if you store your boat (or car or machinery, etc) in a 0% humidity environment, then you would get no condensation (internal and external) and it wont be a problem however since we do...

Because it would be cheaper to make and easier to integrate for a small shop. Mike Livorsi's operation is all in-house. he buys the tach movements and the hour meter movements, however does the machined bling work in-house along with the assembly especially going back to 1999 for the boat...

was your boat sitting completely level? as in perfectly level? if not, the lower manifold gets more water than the higher manifold completely normal when boat is on a trailer

I think this means water intrusion

The crackle test is a standard laboratory test to detect the presence of water in lubricating oil. A drop of oil is placed on a hotplate that has been heated to approximately 400° F. The sample then bubbles, spits, crackles or pops when moisture is present.
