    thats a safety torx or a security torx. use a small screw driver to bust the pin out if you want to remove it. however you can just hose out the sensor in place

    original was probably zinc coated steel. you can make brake lines out of 90/10 copper nickle (preferred on a boat) you will need a double flare tool and bronze tube nuts.
