    Ayuh,..... That's the Theory,..... It falls apart if, or more likely, when, crud in the block blocks the drains,..... At that point, no amount of antifreeze changes the risk of a frozen busted block, as the antifreeze won't displace the water left in the block, by the crud clogged...

    Ayuh,.... If you don't pull the hoses from the bottom of the exhaust manifolds, you don't know that they were drained,..?? Personally, I drain all of the motor, 'n leave it dry,.... Air don't freeze,....
