    Yes, the mooring was probably listed under the family's name, so it was not yours, and probably the annual fee was not getting paid. Back in the 1960's-70's the common practice was to drop a mooring where ever it looked to be OK. We had a Beetle Cat back then and dropped our own mooring...

    I often use a piece of pipe over the handle end of a socket wrench to create a breaker bar. I also use an adjustable wrench tightened to the a square shaft of a screw driver to create some leverage on a stubborn screw. Otherwise I will use a manual impact set on the screw to loosen it.

    Around here (MA), I believe if a place pumps gasoline, they also have to provide pump-out. I usually end up with some waste in the tank at the end of the season, so I often will dedicate (decimate) a shop vac for the purpose. :poop:

    Quick Update . . . I stopped by the re-power shop today to check on the fit of the trim tabs. Looks like I can cut the existing tabs down by 2" (making them 16" x 12") and they should be able to go back into the existing holes. The engines are mounted and the steering parts should arrive...
