    You wouldn't have tooling resin in a production piece. :unsure: That (red) is the fiberglass (resin). Not sure what it is, but probably a VE resin. The VE resin I used on the extension bracket is more green in hue.

    I am out of 40 grit disks, which was fine for today, as I can only do so much grinding in a day. . . I'll be getting more 40 grit, because the underside of the swim deck needs some grinding . . . not the hole area, but where I want the contact points.

    I'll just do the best I can on the inside. The outside (where it really counts) is going well though . . . . . I bought 20 flap disks (40 grit), and there are not many left. I've got some 60, 80, and 120 grit as well, but 40 grit is for the grinding.
