    Water pump kit

I have a 1973 Johnson 65 HP and I'm trying to find a impeller kit with orings and seals, but I'm having no luck. I have found the impeller just by itself but nothing else with it. I need the seals as some of mine are looking rough. I found this kit but everywhere I see it it says that its only...

    Trim hoses

My friend was going to change out his trim hoses due to one leaking but before he could replace them his house was destroyed by a fire and therefore the hoses burnt up as well. He is dealing with a lot and asked me to go ahead and fix it for him. The problem is I don’t have anything to go off of...

    79 Cobalt shift interrupter

The shift interrupter had not been working but I was able to find and fix a wire that wasn't allowing it to ground the igntion. Now I adjusted the lower and upper shift cables to factory spec, but when going from forward to neutral it kills the engine unless u rock the shifter. Reverse to...

    2012 Axis

Ok so we put the thermostat back in, I checked oil cooler for debri and found nothing. Port side you can keep your hand on it forever and starboard side literally about a sec. Doesn't help when you Rev it up and the engine temp hovers around mid 130's. We know it is getting water from unhooked...

Ok, but taking the inlet hose from the port an re routing it to the starboard and vice versa wouldn have taken that out of play tho right?

I'm not sure why you say the port side has least resistance?

    2012 Axis

Also the port side you can keep your hand on it all day. That's also what's so confusing. You would think they would stay relatively the same temp. And we didn't let it run very long after we felt the noticeably different range in Temps.

I didn't have any kind of gauge on the manifold but you wouldn't want to keep your hand on it longer than a few seconds. I would say it would burn skin.

I installed the replumb kit last night and the thermostat is even out of it (I know ppl don't like that) so there should no restriction.

    Mercruiser shift interrupter

What kind of resistance would a good shift interrupter have? I tested it last night and with the button pressed it showed .4 ohms. Is this good or bad?

    2012 Axis

That's the crazy thing. Motor never got hot nor did the other manifold. I will start with the lines that feed this manifold and go from there.

It did melt the paint. This hole just occurred this last weekend. The owner seen it bust shortly after he shut down the engine for smelling something getting hot. No water in oil.
