    "Last Question.. What Gear oil do I use for the lower?" My manual says use E.P. 90 gear lube.....should be the same for your Force 125....Quicksilver makes both a 80w90 (for 75HP and less) and a straight 90 for larger outboards. Have used both with no problems.

    I do.....the one in the pic....the cylinder itself is no good, but the head assembly with shaft and piston is good, was not leaking around the shaft at all. It should screw into your cylinder no problem. Got on here kinda late tonight, will check back tomorrow.

    " Installed battery cranks very slow." Could you give some details about your engine.....is that a new battery? Proper CCA....clean connections? If that is all good, may need to disassemble the starter to check brushes and condition of armature....clean and lube the bearings, etc....

    Good deal, figured Jerry would have one. When reassembled, use only SAE30 non detergent motor oil....don't use red hydraulic fluid or ATF or some such. This should fix the leaky tilt cylinder...but like I said earlier, an external leak usually is not the cause of a bleed down, unless it is...
