    Yep plenty of fouling but I use several coats of trilux aerosol into the intake screens of the drive prior to launch. Usually no barnacles in there but who knows, it only takes a few big ones to make trouble.Im going with the mud theory for now till I pull the drive.Charlie

Serviced water pump on stbd drive preseason.Only put a few hours this season with no issues with cooling so I am sure water pump service went well. My slip is muddy at low tide and after idling with drives 3/4...

    Trying to avoid cheap China parts.Need 2 Transom kits for Alpha drives.(bellows, intake hose, gimbal bearing etc) China kits average $50 per kit.     As your pic shows, your cover either does not fit correctly or you do not have it strapped tight enough.Inflatable is a good idea .You can use a host of things as support .I have used plastic easy assemble saw horse.Charlie

    Quad O ring should be glued into place after carefully thoroughly cleaning where it is seated.This however does not sound like your issue however doing this procedure correctly will remove any doubt re; leaking from this area. In your case my guess is drive shaft seal in the upper.Charlie

    Here it is, not a clue what to set it on. BTW found a small block under the dash.Was very clean looking approx 8 screw heads and coated with a protective black coating .Screws have an extremely small slot so I was not able to tighten or loosen with the screwdriver I had on hand.

    What Brand of Brake pads are best quality? What do you guys use for quality?

    Did a little research on a Jeep forum and found out that there are 2 brands that manufacture and supply OEM to Mopar. Akebono and Magneti Marelli .Never heard of either but I saw Magneti brakes with the Mopar emblem on the packaging.Both are in $60 range so a little more than brands already...
