    Doesn't take much of any amount of fuel to run high RPM in neutral You most likely have a fuel delivery issue What are tbe compression numbers? Can the spark jump a 1/2" gap? Did you do a link and sync?

    aluminum and magnesium are similar. magnesium once set on fire will burn until its all burned up (you almost can not put out a magnesium fire) stainless will be mildly magnetic if its 304 which is what I believe that the boats were made out of.

    I have been using a lot of farm implement greases lately. I use a lot of John Deere cornhead grease at work for worm gear actuators. The stuff works for a whole lot more (got turned onto it 20+ years ago to run in 50's trucks steering gearboxes)

    wiring harnesses are a few hundred dollars to a few thousand. the wiring needed to add a relay and oil pressure switch and the fuel pump is under $100 while you can buy a harness.....why

    DUI or Davis Unified Ignition makes HEI knock-offs sold under the DUI label. they also make marine units. they currently do not make a marine odd-fire buick dizzy. you would have to call them, and ask if they will make you a one-off. it may be cheap. it may be really really really pricey.

    There isn't a marine HEI distributor for the 225. However Davis Unified Ignition makes one for a jeep. You could contact them to see if they can make you a pricey one-off marine distributor.

    Boats are the cheapest assembly of parts tossed together and slapped out the door, sold at a profit and the manufacturer hopes they make it through the warranty period. Some are lemons, some are gems, most are ok. They all rely on maintenance and care

    Bayliners and searays under 25' are both made in the same facility. Being a 2015 there should be stringer tubs and glue (no wood in the stringers) The foam is injected between the stringer tubs. Post pictures of the area in question

    If you have a problem with the block and heads, you follow the sound of the escaping air. Remember air tests must have all the water removed from the water jacket. However I doubt you have a water jacket issue, as the port being rusted is from water entering the exhaust
