    I have to agree with the others. It's all covered up anyway right? So I would just put a backer piece in and call it good. Other options are way more work for basically the same end result.

    Ground everything in prep for the floor, made and glassed in a center stringer for extra support. Apparently, the owner and his brother are both pretty big dudes. None of the original wood is sealed, top or bottom except where the glassed to the walls. How is this thing still together?

    That would be my guess too. I've seen some stuff like that where it wasn't rolled out well, but not just skipped over. Unless there was something else glassed over that spot before, and it was later removed without sealing back up.

    Today's progress, made a mold, cut out the damage, ground and glassed the area. Today's mistake, I cut out the spot before I made the mold. Had to screw it back in and eyeball level to make the mold after. It worked out though. As usual, several forgotten picture opportunities.

    Used Glastron GX 205 with engine issues

    Check every bit of stringers and transom you can get to before spending anything on the engine. If anything is wet or rotten, you'll probably be better off just passing on the whole thing. You would probably have about that much again into a structural rebuild, plus 6 months+ in time.

    Yeah, the bottom side of the floor isn't even sealed, but still surprisingly solid behind where I cut yesterday. The thing is pretty beat up overall, but it's almost 30 years old.

    Finished the truck hood this morning. Then sprayed the basscat (forgot pics), cut some boards for stringers for a coworker, and brushed some bilge coat in the Boss's ski locker. He has a Bravo that's been sitting half finished in the barn for a while.

    Oof, yeah that's a bit more than an air void.

    That could just be an air void from the glass being in a corner. It can lift away even after they roll it really good at the factory.
