    Good day. I have a ford 302 with flat tappet. It was said to not prolong idle from the builder. I was out fishing in the ocean and the tide was ripping and it was windy and my kicker could barely keep up. Any thoughts about using the main as do or donts

    My vaccume gauge reads about 17 inches at idle...doesn't bounce around...now when I'm cruising at about 3000 rpm it's at a steady 10...sound about right?

    I could plumb one into the bottom of the spark arrested if needed...I can't get a thicker one due to clearance from the floor

    My oil cap in valve cover has what appears to be filter material in it...it drips some oil ...not much but I did notice it...should that cap have a vent hose to flame arrester or shoukd I just clean it or replace it

    I have developed what sounds like an exhaust leak however only when boat is in the water...not on muffs. All the gaskets and elbow gaskets have been replaced..any ideas

    I anchor in the tidal portion of the fraser river so on an outgoing it gets going pretty good
