    When I bought both the carb and mechanical pump I was told yes marine. The pump is a double diaphragm unit buy has no hose to carb. I believe I have asked these questions at some point on here and what I've got was right. My pvc however goes to vac port at base of carb not like yours

    I've been trying to find the cfm of this carb and seems I cannot find it. Cm 928 is number on the box.

    I've never heard of anti siphon valves so I apologize if it was the fittings I used possibly causing issues

    Thinking about I may have used brass air fittings. I'm guessing I should change them to anti siphon.

    I'm not.oposed to changing carbs. I went with the 2gv because that's what was on there. If there's a better solution then I'm all ears

    I'm going to install an inline fuel pressure gauge and see what's there.

    I've drained tank. Cleaned it best I can. Fresh fuel...changed fuel water separator..fuel filter. I've cleaned cap and rotor. All clamps and bolts are tight.

    I ran boat in driveway and started over with the carb adjustment. All the way in and 1.5 out. To get highest vaccume I'm about 2ish out 2.5 . I also set timing to 8 btdc. Any suggesting before I hit the water this afternoon for test run

    Before I installed it I noticed no gasket and I called them. The response was I don't need one. Would appear it would prevent that. I did call them.

    Ya this engine had the 2 barrel rochester when I bought it so I just replaced the carb with the same. I've got all the gas out and am going to clean tank and replace filters and start over
