I dont know about US but where I'm located the aftermarket pump costs usually 50...60 whereas oem is north of 200. And the LP pump you can't get oem at all.

I would say the oil viscosity is the culprit here. Thats a typical behaviour when coming down from plane the pressure drops. Like said before me - start from changing the oil to a higher vis one....

Thats the "beauty" of these fuel cells, the paint peeling happens only after the fuel filters. Regarding seals - ordinary O-rings.

Thats a good bit of information, I should contact the local rep. But just to confirm, it's a direct swap between gen 1 and gen 2 and the new set they provided with hydraulic lines? (2 of the new lines have 90 degree fittings).

That might be the case in US but in EU I doubt anyone will replace a 15 years old pump cover? I understand you got gen 2 cover as a replacement?

Actually did the ram seals last year because of leaks and foamy oil. Now it's again foamy. Either it's the cap O-ring which is visibly bad shape or it is because of the remains of bad oil from last year. Either way I will flush it out.

By saying aft connections you mean the ends close to transom/shield? Sry english is not my native 😀

Noticed that my trim oil is a bit milky or foamy. Seems the cap O-ring on the reservoir has failed. So how to get it out from the system before you fill it with new? It's a DPS-A, gen 1 pump.

Noticed this also. Can't say the part number I used but it's really thin, definitely not like solid rubber boot anymore. Come to think about it, there's this 0.000somehing chance I got fake part (advertized as oem but not from dealership)

I have DPS-A and the play is exactly the same, and has been like that for years.

Got to the boat during the weekend and what I have is 7746477 for the drive and 7744933 as VP book. Either of those doesn't help out with my trim problem. What would be the correct manual to chase? Or any tips that I could check with multimeter? What about my hypothesis on shorting the trim...
