I do a lot of work on fuel systems (on vehicles) but usually work in bars rather than psi or inches or water etc. If we say 1 bar is close to atmospheric pressure, most warmed up engines idle with around 0.3bar (0.7bar vacuum) but a cold engine might idle at closer to 0.5bar manifold pressure...

I'm not too familiar with marine applications but you seem to be describing a simple mechanical fuel pressure regulator setup similar to what is/was fitted on a wide range of vehicles. Such regulators that have the vacuum connection maintain fuel pressure relative to engine manifold pressure...

How about a narrow wire wheel, radial type instead of cup type, run it along the length of the 'corduroy' grooves?

I fitted a 'Runleader' digital tach and multifucntion display 1 from Amazon on my boat dash because I don't trust the old analogue tach, it is similar to the tach you linked to and works with my I/O V8, can be set to give correct tach reading for 4 and 2 stroke engines with just about any number...

Can understand ATF might help free sticking rings and clean cylinders up.

I should've used breathing apparatus spraying bleech around in the enclosed space though!

My cuddy cabin had patches of black mold, I went over it a couple of times with a carpet spotwasher using diluted bleach and then again a couple of times with carpet cleaner, turned out great, no sign of any mold since.

Another thought - Did you change the engine oil after the stuck open injector problem? It will have caused fuel to wash into the engine oil. The engine will have some sort of a breather between crankcase and intake manifold. Fuel in oil is obviously bad for the engine, it thins the oil out, but...

Turned out I got incorrect parts from both my friend in the US and my son because MagicTilt told me the incorrect spec and part number for the seals, both sets have too big internal diameter so they wouldn't seal on the axle properly. I should've realised though... 198-138 points to 1.38"...

Should be able to meaure voltages on the MAP sensor similarly to measuring voltages on the TPS as Alldodge described. Obviously there's a difference because the MAP sensor should output a voltage pointing to atmospheric pressure in the manifold when the engine isn't running, so you'd check MAP...
