What is the best roller, bow stop and winch setup for this combo? I would like a 12 self centering keel roller at the back. I don't like the bow stop below the winch strap, makes it hard to secure. Any ideas would be appreciated.

I need to rebuild the carb on 1964 Johnson MQ. I have the owners manual but is does not have any info to remove the carb. Do I have to remove the fly wheel to remove the carb? Any info would be appreciated.

Anyone have an idea what pitch this prop is? Took pics of all the numbers that were on it.

Been thinking about a restore on this barn find. My wife would really appreciate it if you guys could talk me out of it. :rolleyes:

When I bought my bass boat it had two steering cables. Why? Do some engines use two?or was somebody being lazy?

How much performance/speed/rpm loss is the damage on this prop causing? I am currently getting 4200 rpm. Which prop do I buy? Currently 1995 50hp Johnson / 5500 max rpm / 11-3/4 x 17 / 16 ? ft. bass boat @ 2240 lbs. including trailer

Re: 1964 850 wake up I could not time the motor properly, the most advance I could get was at TDC. Did the belt jump?

Re: Tach setting Boat is very slow. Added new tach. WOT was 4200 RPM.

Is 6P the correct tach setting for a 1972 Evinrude 50 hp model 50273C?
