There are many hundreds of ramps across the country, that were built 75+ years ago, when the typical boat was 12’ to 15’ in length.
Place a modern 20’ to 24’ boat on one of these ramps, and the prop is 8’ off the end of the ramp where power loading will wash it out, and deposit a mud barrier...

Hard to make a good diagnosis without more info.
How big is your boat?
How heavy?
What hp is it rated for?
Is engine running on both cylinders?
Does the engine rev up?
If you have a tach, how high is it reading?
How fast is the boat going?
What is the prop pitch?
House could get hit by a boat.
Probably the last thing the homeowner was thinking about when building.

There are no 15 super sports (open bow) listed.
Super Sports were all 16, 18, and 20/21'.
Sure looks like a 16SS (super sport), which was rated at 85 hp in 1971.
The rating went up to 90 hp in the early 1980's.

The milky stuff really isn't the issue, more the problem when it sits and separates over time, and all the oil floats on top. Surely you don't believe all gear lube is the same, interchangable?
Emulsifiers and anti-foam. And some sort of clinging ingredient.

Also have a flat 4 plug spliced into the harness, just in case I have a need to tow with a vehicle that doesn’t have a 7 pin plug.
I have a bunk trailer and an 18’ boat.
I have a spare trailer tire mounted on each side, 1” from the hull, about 5’ from the bow. And 4’ guide bunks at the stern. So if a really bad situation happens, the boat will still be centered well enough to attach the winch strap and get out...
I just returned from Canada as well.

How about picking up something like this from great lakes skipper? Lots of new factory overstock sizes and shapes to pick from.
gauges and wiring included, pretty cost effective and will look real nice in a refurbished boat.
If installing a water psi gauge, bite the bullet, spend the $$$ and get one that reads from 0-15 psi.
one that reads from 0-30 or 0-60 psi will be worthless.
My I6 engine reads 8-10 at anything above 2500 rpm when impeller is new.

The charger should be connected to the trolling motor battery.
What is the voltage between the starting battery terminals when the engine is running?
Just take the motor off the boat and store it inside your basement, garage, or vehicle
That way you will still have the motor after they steal your boat.
