    Mercruiser shift interrupter

What kind of resistance would a good shift interrupter have? I tested it last night and with the button pressed it showed .4 ohms. Is this good or bad?

    2012 Axis

That's the crazy thing. Motor never got hot nor did the other manifold. I will start with the lines that feed this manifold and go from there.

    2012 Axis

The boat was out 2 weekend ago and ran just fine with no problems. So I wouldn't think it would be a freeze problem. I wondered if it might have sucked something up or one of the connecting hoses collapsed.

    1979 cobalt shift question

A friend has a 1979 cobalt mercruiser gen 1 and it will shift from neutral to in gear just fine but will not shift from in gear to neutral while it's running. Once shut off it will go into neutral fine. Not sure what would cause this?

    2012 Axis

Why would a hole get blown in an exhaust manifold with no kind of warning? Motor never got hot but it was like the manifold wasn't getting enough water maybe?

My friend has a 2012 Axis that the engine got hot in and now has water in the oil. He took to a reputable marine dealer and they tested the exhaust manifolds and said both of the them were bad and causing the water to get in the oil? I'm not saying there lying but can someone please verify this...

    1992 Ski Centurion Falcon XP

I'm sorry I should have been more clear. There is a plug in the front of the engine (going thru the bottom of the boat) then 2 on the transom (one on the left and one on the right).

    1992 Ski Centurion Falcon XP

I just purchased a 92 ski centurion in the fall and I noticed it had 3 drain plugs. One in front of the engine and then 2 on the back, one on each side. I was just wondering the reason behind this. Thanks.

The seal kit should be here tomorrow. Is the seal I'm looking for around the yoke itself or pinion gear/bearing assembly?
