    that should be the alternator excite wire regarding your starting issue. service the points.... file them, rough gap them, use a dwell meter to set dwell, then set timing.

    Volvo Penta put 715CFM carbs on stock block 350's from 1987-1994. the AVS 2 along with the webber and the 1409 all are available as 650 CFM or 800CFM. since they have the secondary flap they only flow what the engine can draw.

    correct, you can not make a 3.0 distributor fit a 3.7 short of a machine shop and custom make one. the 3.7 liter does not have an electronic distributor anywhere. the only thing that exists is the pertronix point replacment trigger, however the distributor still has the mechanical advance...
