    Might have a BIG problem…

I agree, the seat is the easy fix. That boat will need a transom.

Can you guess how much I paid for all this?

That’s what I’m going to do with my boat. Full disclosure..it was given to me BECAUSE it needs stringers and floors. I’m going to do all of the work myself.

Can you guess how much I paid for all this?

I got this for free, 454 v-drive, so I’m guessing (hoping) you got yours for free too.

How many of you use the Owners Group by Manufacture section of this forum?

Do you post in the section for your manufacture on this site or just in this more general section? Do you even browse your boat manufactures section for brand specific questions/info? Why or why not?

Round seat medallion, steering wheel center cap and Century side script for 84 Cardel

I’m looking for a seat medallion, that goes on the sides of the rear seat. Chrome plastic with a black center. I’m also looking for the center cap for my steering wheel. My steering wheel has three brushed spokes and black stitched grip, like fake leather. And I’m looking for a pair of the...

I‘ve just been informed it’s 13 degrees and all fiberglass Coronados, including Cardel versions were the same. Other models from Century varied.

    Coronado deadrise ??

Does anyone know the dead-rise of a 1984 Coronado? I’ve searched everywhere and just can’t seem to find it. And is if the same for all of the “Fiberglass” years and models, ie, Cardel v-drive and I/O? Thanks

Wiring diagrams, parts and service manuals for boats

I’ve got the correct Mercruiser service manual and the engine harness is shown. I guess I’ll use that as a start for building my own full-boat wiring diagram. Not much I can do for a full-boat parts manual.

    Coronado wing windows

Thanks. I’ll give them a call Monday AM but I’ve not have good experiences with them before. It’s almost like they have to offer a few trinkets on their website to satisfy their OEM clients that they are there to support them but in reality, hate the retail business with owner/users like me. I...

Wiring diagrams, parts and service manuals for boats

General question, but did boat manufactures publish parts or service manuals and/wiring diagrams for their boats? I know boats are built using a collection of parts manufactures bought from vendors and vendors like Mercruiser, Volvo, etc, had their own manuals. But what about parts or vendor...

    Coronado wing windows

Does anyone know where I might be able to locate glass for the movable wing windows on a 1985 Century Coronado? New or used? Also, does anyone have an exploded view of what else I’ll need for this, ie, latches, catches? The rear swivel channel that the glass goes in is still there.

    Electronic Ignition and Shift Assist

I’m working on OMC 350 King Cobra (574BPRGDP) and have a question about electronic ignition and shift assist. In a nut shell I would like to add electronic ignition to replace the points in the distributor (distributor #985560 - Prestolite). I seem to remember some warning about adding an...

1989 OMC Cobra 350 overheating problem

I took the drive back off the boat and split the upper/lower halves. The rubber grommets on the water tube were hard but looked good. I don’t think that was the loss of water pressure. I put in new grommets, new orings (3) on the little housing around the driveshaft and and a gasket under the...

1989 OMC Cobra 350 overheating problem

I just talked to the shop where I bought the T-stat and they tell me it’s a 160. They have a 180 option but virtually never sell it. So where on the web it says an OMC/Johnson part number 0383307 stat is 180 degree, it’s wrong. Phew. Another shop has suggested that the grommets on the water tube...

1989 OMC Cobra 350 overheating problem

The only reason I think it’s a 180 degree stat is that’s what I saw on the internet associated with the part number. I’ve looked further this AM and other sites refer to it as a 160. I’ll pull it back out and check it in a pot of water. And I’ll check the idle speed and water flow again to make...
