    Given the mention about the lack of gasket. Does this mean there are no seals between the mating surfaces at all ? If so, are we sure that the water is making it past there at all ? Maybe it’s water expelled from there you are seeing ?

    Check the calibration of the trim sender gear. There is a procedure. Do you have the trim switch type that’s the 3 button on the dash ? That you have to hold in two at the same time to get up onto trailer tilt mode ?

    Strange diameter for a standard issue 21” prop. The black max usual type prop of a 21” would have at least an inch less diameter I’d think.

    That is a very light boat for the size and engine. My 18ft with a v8 weighs about 1400kgs dry.. Anyway. Yeah. I’d start with a 19” see what happens. Depends on if your outdrive has a 1.47/1.5 ratio..or higher.

    You might plane a little quicker with a 4 blade, like of like in pitch to the 3 blade..but you’ll sacrifice top end and fuel efficiency (if that matters at all).
