    Gentlemen, will it or won´t suck my pan dry? I have a melling M55HV already and a spring to reduce it to standard pressure (instead of high pressure). Can I just drop it in without having a problem?

    That is not really an option over here. Assuming I will bore mine and can reuse cam and crank. Skipping the oil pump upgrade if not needed. can I work with the list above or are there improvements to make?

    This is probably so much off topic, that never ever anyone will find this, but I found the shapes of the reluctor rings n the VP manual and this proves Scott was right.

    But it’ll they are new, they are dry. Mine was in use and has remaining petrol, probably also water in it. This is why I thought fresh petrol would be less damaging.

    i was looking at a $800 Volvo Penta Price Tag, so compared to that 16*$21 is not that shocking. But if we can figure out who made the original parts, that would be great. I’m a fan of original parts and not having to adapt everything else to it.

    I have purchased among other used parts a electric fuel pump. What I always hear is that petrol fuel also goes bad and gums up the membranes in a fuel pump. So I'm wondering if I should pump fresh gas through my pump every once in a while to keep it "fresh". Is that reasonable? Do you guys do that?
