    Re: V4 They made 100 hp crossflows starting in 1971 on and off through 1997. There may be information on a casting plug on the top of the engine. It's about the size of a quarter and is probably painted over. If you can post the information on that plug, we can help with what year it is...

    Re: mid 70's 115 johnson That engine should have a casting plug on the top of the engine block which will have the model and serial number. It's probably painted over, but the model number is the thing you need.
