    I will take a look at that first thing tomorrow. There is a covered junction box on the right side of the motor that may hold a clue. I am not very familiar with Yamaha wiring as everything else I own is OMC.

    Fuel pump ticking

    I recently changed the VRO pump on my 1994 evinrude 120 looper. I installed a new dual pump sold by Promarine and there is a ticking noise coming from the pump. I’m curious if that is a common occurrence?

    Faint sound from warning buzzer

    2007 115 hp Yamaha 2 stroke engine misfire.

    1998 90 hp crossflow evinrude water discharge tube location.

    No spark with plugs in. 99- 70hp johnson

    I have never run across this before but, this engine has spark with plugs out and no spark with plugs in. 230 volts at stator. Only getting 30 volts between coil and power pack. The spark seems to be a little weak but will still jump a 7/16 gap. Any Ideas as to power pack or stator issue...

    Assembly of Seirra marine coil

    Let me preface this post with I'm an idiot. I received new coils for a 150 Evinrude 79-84 and I can't figure the way to assemble them. Coil, wire, boots and what looks to be spring connectors are all separate. The spring connectors are what is puzzling me . HELP!!!
