    Removing Transom - Wood Replacement - Alumacraft Model K

    Morning guys... As I mentioned in my investigation, I think my Alumacraft is a Model K, but am unsure what year. There is a 552 stamped on the lower support arm near the transom and splash well, and a "K" stamped on the two upper. Anyway, the wood on the outside of the transom seems easy...

    First Motor - Evinrude Aquasonic - New boat owner...

    Just got my boat yesterday, and the owner threw in an Evinrude Aquasonic FleeTwin 7.5 outboard motor... May I ask what I need to look at to find the exact year? He shot some starter fluid right into the intake and gave it a pull, sounded ready to go... Am looking for some maintenance...
