    Possibly Purchasing??

This is a 20 foot boat with a Merc 350, Corsa convertible exhaust, and go-fast style trim tabs. Most of that would be aftermarket. This looks like a kid taking an old Plymouth Volare and trying to convert it into a muscle car.

    The easiest thing to do is simply do the calculations yourself. Note: Length in FEET Max Capacity (People) = (vessel length x vessel width) ÷ 15 Max HP = (Boat length x boat width) = {boat square footage} Square Footage < 52: <35 Sq.ft: 3HP 36-39 Sq.Ft: 5.5HP 40-42 Sq.ft: 7.5HP 43-45 Sq.ft...

What is the best easiest way to clean hull?

Mary Kate "On and Off" Hull and Bottom Cleaner. I use a 1 gallon pump sprayer to put it on. I would advise wearing heavy gloves, eye protection.

    Marine Audio and CD Receivers

Also, I've had 3 Fusion head units. That is all I will use on my boats.

    Marine Audio and CD Receivers

I've never seen a 'universal' connector. You're going to need to cut and re-crimp new butt connectors. It's not that difficult, as mentioned before. Usually the harness on the old stereo has line markers. If not, find the manual. Then cross-reference the old stereos coding with the new...

What goes down won't go Up

You more than likely need to replace the solenoids. Jump the external posts on the solenoids. If the drive moves, the solenoids need to be replaced.

Oil Fill - Mercruiser 3.0 TKS

Where are the "Full-----Fill" lines on your dip stick? Are they at the top, near the pull ring? Or are they at the bottom? The Full/Fill lines should give yo an indication of where the oil level is located.

    Trim not working

Jump the external posts on the solenoid. If it works, you need to replace the solenoid.

    Fuel Sending Unit Question

There's a reason it's called a "Topside" fuel tank. It doesn't vent to a through hull (overboard). It vents through the cap, which means it is venting into the bilge. It's not designed to be used in the manner you're using it.

Questions about waterlogged foam on 1977 Mckee Craft

The way I've seen them do it in the yards is to drill a bunch of holes in the bottom of the hull at low points and allow the hull to drain. Then re-fiberglass the holes, barrier coat and paint the hull. I watched a friends boat in the yard drain for 6-8 months.

Tiara 31 open Vs Torjan 11meter 1985-1995 models yrs

Both are reputable, well built boats. Both have cockpits set-up for fishing. The Trojan will be more comfortable to overnight on. The trojan will be little trickier to negotiate the ladder if your fishing or docking with only one other person. The trojan will have better visibility forward...

    Hydrofoil or Trim Tabs??

Hydrofoils give lift to the motor, transferring vertical force to the motor mounts attachment points on the transom. These were not designed for vertical forces to lift the hull. Trim tabs are designed to extend the hulls running surface and give the hull lift.

    How to cut wax

You don't 'cut' wax. Mild abrasives suspended in pastes or liquids are referred to as 'cutting agents'. Rubbing compound is a example of a liquid or paste with an aggressive amount of cutting agents. Some are combined in wax, such as 'cleaner and wax', which is a wax with a mild cutting...

    stick steering

Carrying it in inventory and being able to order one are two completely different things. If it's a Bass Tracker part or option, they should be able to order it for you. Either you're asking the wrong question or the wrong person. More than likely the latter. A decent parts manager will offer...

    Thinking of getting salty

I've owned two boats that each lived in saltwater 6 months a year, for over 20 years. As soon as the boat is pulled, hook it up to muffs and run it on a garden hose until the thermostat opens, then let it run for a while to flush it and you'll be fine. Don't let 'Haulover Inlet' videos scare...

    Name this boat

"Fred" LOL!!! Honestly, never trust a boat that is stored outside, exposed to the elements and not properly covered. That boat has been stored long enough that the poorly affixed tarp has long since tattered and fallen off. This means water intrusion occurs, freezes, expands, soaks in and is...

Are you talking about the windshield (front glass of the cabin) on the lower? Or a Venturi (Venturi windshied) the little curbed plexi that deflects wind at the upper helm? If the latter.....breakout your checkbook.
