    contaminated gas

    I recently did some repairs on the boat..water was getting into the gas. I had to drain out the "bad" gas as part of the repairs.     Dumb move

    Went cruising the river last weekend and decided to beach the boat for a bit and swim with the family. What I didnt do was tilt up the outboard and the tide was going out...about an hour later try to leave and its burried. Got it out but much longer and I would have had BIG trouble. :eek:

    gettin boat off trailer for trailer repair

    Forgive me if this is a dumb question. I have some repairs to do to my trailer...new rollers and while im at it I want to paint it. How would I get the boat off the trailer in my yard? Any ideas? Pictures? I assume I have to make some kind of brace system? Thanks for the help for a newbie.

    Paint

    Is it possible to acheive a good paint job on a fiberglass boat in the driveway? I am not an experienced painter..no air guns or anything like that. I have seen sites that mantion rolling and brushing but I dont want to get into more than I can handle

    fuel guage sending unit

    I need to install a new sending unit and have a kinda dumb question. I have all the parts I need but I am not sure if I need to use any gasket sealant such as permatex on the gasket . This is exposed a bit in the bilge area . Any thoughts?
