    Sat for a month. First start up. After watching the video. I should have smelled it. But didn't. Would this be normal the smoke? It did go away after 15-20 sec or so. Or 30 sec. Motor less than 500hrs.

    Well dangit I goofed up. Replaced head gasket and such and didn't have the rod in place correctly. So I bent it. Now I'm seeing red, blue, yellow and non. That's not my face Im talking about. 1985 190hp 3.7 liter mercruiser with the Ford head. Which rod do I get? So far researching has...

    Really beginning to think. Is the crack in the chambers separated a really that big of deal to replace? It’s just the exhaust. It’s not broken and it Leads into 1 chamber at the riser.

    Having a hard time to find the combo I need. Can not find a cast iron manifold. Can find aluminum manifold, but can’t find the reservoir for the aluminum. Any ideas or leads on where or who to look up? thank you

    Another update. I pulled the fuel filter. It was the old style ceramic filter. Maybe? Soon as a store is open will be getting one.

    Correction on the compression check all plugs out #1 155psi #2 120psi #3 120psi #4 135psi Butterflies in the carb are opening full throttle. Oddly enough, I checked #3 compression yesterday. Put plug back in and found that plug snapped at the ceramic. Hmm
