    Delco Voyager Est timing question

    1985 Mercruiser 140 is the motor in question.Do I time it to the 6 degrees BTDC like my motor sticker and manual say, or to the new Delco EST distributor which says 0 decrees at 700 RPM. This will be timed at my dock in the water with it tied off in neutral. Thanks in advance.

    Is the shutter in the lower exhaust manifold? Can this be replaced without taking off the upper exhaust elbow? I looked it up on the mercruiser manual #10 but it is still unclear to me.

    1987 Mercruiser 140 timing issue?

    Motor serial # B403505 from what I can read. I can't seem to get the RPM's down low enough (650-700) to time my motor properly at 6 BTDC, it runs too rough. When I timed it(1000 RPM's in gear tied to my dock)it was 4 BTDC. Should I try to adjust the secondary idle screw on the carb? The motor...

    140 Mercruiser 3.0L Lower Exhaust Pipe "O" Ring?

    1985 Mercruiser 140HP, Alpha One Gen One. This is the o ring that goes into the groove of the gimbal housing. I am getting water in the boat and this is the location it is coming from. Has anyone changed this o ring without pulling the engine? Has anyone else had this o ring go bad? Thanks

    Where Can I Get Window Gaskets? (Starcraft,Sylvan)

    I can't find the correct window gaskets for my vent windows, is there a place out there that I haven't found that makes these? This gasket would probably be the same as some of the older Starcraft vent windows. Thanks Mike
