120 hp Mercruiser 1973. At the end of the heat exchanger closest to the stern there were two plugs. I removed the back one and fresh water came out. I’m assuming that drained the heat exchanger. So check to be sure about power steering and that should do it. Thanks in advance

Have never drained this for winter. Outdrive down it's empty. Closed cooling system so where all do I drain fresh water out of. Arrows on the pic for location would be great. Thanks

A.I. is telling me exterior trim tilt switch might have been replaced with a jobber interior limit switch. Will check for that when I get in the boat.

Changing my starter noticed a wire with insulation rotting off on my 1966 120 hp Mercruiser with a 1974-1976 alpha outdrive. The wire is one of two going through the transom directly behind the Center of the engine and goes into the outdrive. I’m assuming they are for the trim tilt switch...

But will ask anyways. These trim tabs didn't have hose clamps where the hose attaches to the cylinder. I'd my leak there as simple a fix as put a hose clamp on?

This trim tabs leaking oil? Looks like out of fitting and hose. Is it as simple as hose clamp, and if so why are they not on it already?

All good bad connection to bilge pump.

When I hook the battery power cable up I'm getting this noise? Trim tilt pump running maybe?
