    Mine is a 2 piece drive shaft. Does anyone know if a Fiorce "L-drive" lower unit will work for my 1990 90hp? My understanding is that the L-drive was from a Force I/O and they used the same lower unit for the I/O and outboards at that time.

    Struggling to install lower unit....Force 90Hp

    So it's really hard to turn the prop with the lower unit in gear. I was given this boat and motor and I found the lower unit was cracked. I'm guessing from water infiltration that froze. I put JB Weld on the crack but I wonder if it damaged the gears somehow?

    Shocks AND leaf springs on my trailer??

    Out of curiosity, how would you create the bracket with a U bolt and angle iron? I can't envision how that would be done. The bottom of shock would need to attach to a 5/8" bolt that is parallel to the ground and pointing toward the rear of the trailer below the axle. Thanks! Chris
