My Garmin Striker has started shutting down every time I start my boat. Before this it would warn low voltage momentarily but not shut down. I'm assuming this happens because the voltage goes too low now. The battery starts the motor fine. Does this mean my battery is getting too old? It's about...

What would a safe way to discharge one a little? I also bought one for my trolling motor this spring and after last use I recharged to full, but didn't get to use it. Now its at 100% for the winter. Would a trolling motor overheat if ran any length of time out of water?
I'm pretty sure a lithium battery charger needs to be over 13volt. Its different from a 12 volt battery charger. I don't think it matters about when you charge them. I also think you might run your fish finder and trolling motor off the same battery just fine if its only pulling just 1.25 amps...

Don't you find shipping costs on Ebay really high? Maybe its because I'm in Canada, but I have found that most things I look at there have shipping costs higher then the price of what I'm buying! I rarely even bother to look anymore. Amazon with free shipping can't be beat.
