should i use lock tight on the new rod bolts.30 foot pounds.so when the torque wrench shows 30 foot pounds and then turn the torque wrench another 90 degrees or do i have to buy a special wrench

First you cannot reuse your rodbolts you need NEW. The torque is 30ft lbs plus 90 degrees

Sorry did see the "new"(winterizng all day). The rodbolts go on with drop of oil on threads(no loctite) and torque in 3 steps 10-20-30 and manual says to turn a additional 90 degrees. I use a torque angle wrench because the V-6 use it and I know its a true 90 degrees when torqued. Or you can torque to 30 then take it up to 35 as that about where 90 degrees put it at.
