Re: 16' 1967 Silverline Rambler Restoration
Progress so good it hurts! Seriously, my legs are still killing me from doing all 6 stringer glasses on Saturday. It took 4 trips to the store for more rollers, a new handle because the walmart rollers wouldnt fit my lowes handle and it was 11pm, cheap walmart nitrile gloves that weren't worth the bag they were in, Lowes for new respirator cartridges, and HF for the good gloves

.
Got the glass cutout while I was bored Friday night, heres my soon to be floor template foam acting as a pretty good layout table!
Anyways, did the outboard 2 sections on both sides at once, and then back in that night for the two center sections. I'm done glassing friggin stringers!
Sunday was a slow day, spent the morning with my girlfriend before she went to work, and was to whipped from the glasswork to muster up the courage to grind the excess stinger glass. Instead I put the scotchbrite on the die grinder and did some cleaning. Spent about an hour on the oil pan that was thick with grime and rust. Heres the result after 3 coats of primer and 3 of Ford Blue engine enamel.
Also cleaned some flash rust off the head, spent an hour taping it, and got this (still taped

)
Now it's on to flooring the boat, and deciding on foam, I'm leaning towards pour in, maybe like BobGlasstream did.
