Re: 19 something Starcraft Star Trek

I did a compression test on the 90 today. It was 135-140 on the top 5 cylinders. I didnt feel like battling the bottom. I had to use a cable directly from the battery to get it to turn over. It has a wiring issue somewhere and wont even let me jump the solenoid with the remote starter switch. Im not sure what it would be. Ill play with it tomorrow and hopefully get the 115 out of the back of my truck and do a compression test on it. Both lower units turn in both directions so thats good news.

The startrek was looking lonely in the back yard so I pulled it off the trailer and flipped it over. If I feel ambitious I might start stripping the paint off this week.

Yeah, that guy is nuts. He completely avoids plywood for decking. He will only use starboard which is about $300 a sheet. His quoted words to me were "you guys dont know how to correctly do a boat floor". That kinda ticked me off because all of us here on iboats go above and beyond to do some good floors.

haha I need to have a conversation with THAT guy......

and the GF thought that post was funny as heck also.....
