Looking Great!!!
Sorry about not getting back sooner about the varnish in the refrigerator. I don't know about polyurethanes as I don't use them, but putting traditional tongue oil or spar varnishes in the refrigerator is an old trick. Keeping the varnish cold will help to keep it from drying quite so quickly initially which will 1) help to maintian your 'wet line' longer as you are working along, so you won't see where you stopped & started as much, and 2) allow more time for any bubbles to settle out. Years ago there was a popular marine varnish called "Callahans chiltered varnish" which actually had on the label to put it in the refregerator before use. --- Also, for final coat work, don't work out of the can; open a fresh can and pour out about 15 minutes worth of varnish into a clean cup/container (so it will stay cool), then go back and pour off more into the container. Don't work out of the can as dust & lint from the surface & brush will end up in the can.
