man, i need to do that to my work area. looks nice. i finally figured out to put all my "home repair" tools (as opposed to my "mechanical repair" tools) into a crappy old spare rollaround, and it's greatly simplified the house work now that i don't have to hunt for tools as much.

Thanks B2! Yah... still searching around for a few things... trying to remember where I put everything!

Ok... planned on doing this today...

Ended up getting my priorities straight and did this instead...

Yup... played in the shop with the kids... painted a doll house and built a shelf. Both kids learned valuable skills and we had a blast!

Tomorrow is another day. Gluvit I'm thinking will go then after we have outdoor fire pit time and some "warm" drinks! :)

Have a great evening fellas!!

Quality time with the kids is of utmost importance. Now that my 3 are grown I now have the grandkids about every weekend and they enjoy working on the boat knowing that they will be out in it fishing.

Funny you should ask! The Admiral got sick yesterday... my folks where planning on dropping the trailer by this weekend on there way by, got sick. And I ended up working Sat night and most of Sunday --- so short answer nope!

But.... plan is that I am taking a day off on Friday and am going to have a coffee with my sis on Friday am and pick it up then. When I get back to Newmarket I am going to HD to get the wood for the floor, transom and structure! So super excited there!

Gluvit is going down tonight after the kiddo's are in bed... should give it enough time to cure by Friday.

Glad to be getting back at it!

Ok... snuck out and got Gluvit laid down...

Interesting thing.... for the Jupiter I used 1 quart... for this one I used 1 quart and barely had enough despite being 2 feet shorter.... maybe I was being more judicious... maybe there is less in the can. To be honest, the can seemed about 3/4 full even after mixing the two.

Anyways, heat is on high... I'll leave it for the next couple of days and then move on to the floatation, floor and transom. I plan on purchasing enough wood to also do the structure for the lengthened bow, the stern and new thicker gunwales.

Have a great evening folks!

I think the gluvit is like many epoxy products, sold by weight, not volume. Hence the 2lb/8lb quanities...

Not sure why it'd be 30% heavier then the last time you bought it though......

When applying the Gluvit are you trying to get it under the rib? or just on top of the rivets?
