Hello and welcome.
Sounds like several possiblities to my feeble mind. Im not an expert.
Check fuel bulb and see that it stays fairly firm after priming. Make sure tank vent is open! Then...
Check every fuel line on tank and motor for fuel line cracks or loose connections at all attachment points and bends. With the extra pressure of the bulb pump, small leaks can be discovered sometimes..
Pull spark plugs, inspect and do a compression test on the motor.
Does it start right away after dieing? or does it have to be primed by primer bulb again?

So, while you were in there messing with the carburetor, did you clean the main metering jet orifice? It is in the very bottom of the float bowl and must be absolutely, positively squeaky CLEAN.

Did you check the ignition system? Most carburetor problems....aren't.

i have good spark. yes the motor will restart after it stalls. i dont have to reprime the bulb after it stalls. after i took the carb apart i dip it in a chem bath of carb cleaner and blew it out with air.

i believe i found the problem it is the fuel pump.i pulled off the vacuum line off the back of the fuel pump and squezzed the primer bulb and fuel shot out of it. to me it sounds like the diaphram in the fuel pump is bad.could i be wrong in assumming this?
