do you think that is going to be an issue?? i dont want to sink a ton of money into this if its gunna be all rotted underneath. it would cost me a fortune to get that done.

Actually they are not that bad to do price wise I read in one of the glass guys posts yesterday about $800.00 to do all three deck,stringers and transom. You may want to do a couple searches one for deck and stringers and one for transom alot of reading there but it will give you an idea of what to expect if you do it .

for that price id be better off going and getting a new boat. what will happen if i dont bother with it? and how can i tell if its rotten underneath?

it has been sitting uncovered for many years and now im worried about it because i was told i didnt have to worry about that because it is an all fiberglass boat. if i can avoid having to redo them then i would love to.

right now i am worried about the wood. the floor seems pretty solid. do you guys think i could drive it for a summer or 2 then rebuild the stringers and such??

Do a search on here for core samples . I would say if the deck and the transom are solid paint it up and enjoy it . I would do some core samples though following the directions you will find by doing the search.
