What he said ^^^ in the first post. That heater looks like a PC desk top case. It does the job!

Thanks Glen... I was planning on giving it a quick wash as well as I figured not much would stick to it.

It's getting colder for the next couple of days and then should warm up a bit anyways... just not used to this winter "thing" anymore! Ahh well!

Thanks, as well GA --- it looks too good for a garage/shop! But despite temps of 2F this morning the inside temp was just below 50F... so not bad for a little heater.

Hey fellas...

Gotta take a little pause for a couple of weeks to build another office in the basement.... business is growing and all. So, the boat is going to have a little rest until early March where things gotta rock and roll to get it done before the summer. Still be around here though... :) Might be able to do a bit... but business takes priority!!!

Yep, just keep the office stuff outta the boat building garage :joyous:

Working funds the boat building & keeps the Admiral under a roof, which, in my limited experience is at a minimum a good start :)

:behindsofa:: Psssst.... I may still sneak out for a little shop/boat time! Just not gonna be the focus for a few weeks!

You're speaking the truth there brother!!! Office stuff and shops shall not mix! :puke: Although I will get some nice shelves for the upper "loft" in the shop for all the tools! :) Actually, I have a different "funder" of this boat.... which will fund the next one for me!!! Sometimes, ya gotta work the system to get what ya want! :victorious:

As 1 MBS sufferer (w/ limited funding) to another, I was actually lumping all your boat building funding into 1 bowl:

However large or whoever's putting the money in.....:watermelon:

Any which way you can get the funds in the bowl, the better. Boat funds are a needed sort, they need constant care & attention. Adding in some new found 'friends' makes the current funds happy happy happy....

Someone else putting the bulk of the funds in for the current build:

BONUS! ;)

You know... if you hung the boat from the garage roof, and then had the awning that was "protecting" the trailer for that boat collapse under the snow trapping the trailer there until spring... You could then do what I do; "nope honey I can't, the boat is taking up the entire garage and I can't move it till spring".

Hey Jim sorry about the loss of MBS time but, one needs money to keep the illness at bay. Good luck on the renos.

Watch the thumbs while working on the office remodel & thinking about boat building.... Just saying... As if it could (or would ever) happen........

Etching paint means part of the hull is getting a new dress soon

It looks like the boat is still coming along nicely! Your further than me...I'll work on that! Good luck on both your projects.

Thanks BB --- I feel like I haven't had anywhere near enough time on her for the last while... but sometimes life takes turns that you just gotta go with. You'll catch up no doubt!

Re: 1964 Starcraft Jet - Rebuild

Ok... so technically this is not a "boat update"... but it more of a "getting closer to be able to a boat update" :) So... office build is now at the point where I can begin building so to speak. The tear apart and re-organization is all done.

Here is a shot of the upper loft in the garage of all of what came out of the house storage (including the shelving) and is now in the garage:

Also made time to finish a long over due project for my kids --- the RC Car builds... final pics:

And a final pic --- a "within 5 years" bucklist road the Admiral wants to go and drive... 15 miles of incredible tarmac... gotta love this road!

Sorry for the lack boat progress shots... but getting a closer to being able to be back at... :)

Have a terrific weekend fellas!

Jim - getting ready to make boat progress is boat progress. :D

Where is that road? I'd toss her the keys and tell her to go for it, I don't mind driving on curvaceous roads, but I draw the line when I'm driving behind my own tail lights. Wimp, I know.

Thanks GA! Stelvio pass in Italy... Another one of the greatest roads is the Transfăgărășan highway in Romania --- close to 50 miles of amazing roadway... best driven in a GT car though... :)
