took it out again, this time with new everything in the carbs, put new floats in and did nothing but stick and flood out the bottom carb that is, could not get full rpms out of it, fixed flooding, adjusted idle mix over and over again with little effect? i was very low on fuel and was headind back to dock and i noticed as it did run out!!! of fuel the rpms picked up and took off well over 5 grand but for a very breif sec, could it be getting to much fuel in the carbs at one time? it takes a long time to get up the rpms and peeks at around 4500.
seems to take longer to plane, no zip, it'll run good once and then i have to fight with it, just to get it to run so so, i feel more like a mechanic on water than enjoying it, it wants to run good but i just don't know what else to do for this old girl but put her to sleep.....
at my wits ends
