Cleaning and rebuilding carb on 71 sportster 25hp, what’s the initial setting on low speed needle?

Try 1.5 turns out for the slow speed (top) and 3/4 turns out for the high speed.

There isn’t a high speed needle on this one, but I’ll try 1.5 on low speed, thanks

Motor fired when I bought it a few weeks ago, guy had it running in a barrel but he kept pumping primer which told me fuel pump was weak, got it home and wouldn’t start. So I got a fuel pump kit and carb kit, fuel pump diaphragms were deteriorated, and when I got carb off the bowl was dry, low speed needle packing was split so tore it apart to rebuild
