1972 140 hp merc I/O parts availability

Hi , I've postred similar questions in different forums and thank all who have replied . I've also been moved from some forums so if this is the incorrect forum I apoligize ahead of time . Here , finally is the question- Are parts readilly available( or available at all ) for 1972 140 hp mrc I/O powedrives ? A couple local marine mechanics ( Portland OR ) are advising I don't buy a Starcraft Holiday because the parts are not available . Thanks for your input .

The answers are the Same...

Some or most parts are probably, or maybe available...
But,...
It only takes 1, NLA part, 'n the Whole thing is Junk....
