Re: 1972 Chrysler Ward Sea King 20hp - Pee Hole?
I held my hand on the head for about 5-10 seconds after throttling it for a while. It didn't make me jerk away. No paint missing from the block, this motor has been setting for years, I had to replace fuel lines, fuel diaphragm and rebuild the carb. I also replaced a gasket between a metal mount on the exhaust.
Not sure about a thermostat, probably a good idea to get a new impeller, just not sure how to identify it to find a replacement.
