1972 Evinrude 125hp Outboard Engine - torque on the flywheel nut

I have a 1972 Evinrude 125hp Outboard Engine. Can anyone tell me what the required torque is on the flywheel nut? We had the flywheel off and when I ran the engine after putting it back together the key that positions the flywheel on the shaft sheered and the flywheel spun freely, creating quite a racket and shutting me down for the day. I've replaced the key and I think the flywheel came loose because I hadn't tightened it down enough. Is this a logical assumption or could this be something more ominous?

Some one will jump in with the right torque, my manual does not cover the 72. Some things to consider in the mean time. The flywheel tapered cone and the tapered shaft that has the woodruff key must be clean. oil or dirt will prevent proper mating of the unit and it will loosen. Consider changing the nut, worn threads won't hold.
