I have a 1972 Evinrude 125hp Outboard Engine. Can anyone tell me what the required torque is on the flywheel nut? We had the flywheel off and when I ran the engine after putting it back together the key that positions the flywheel on the shaft sheered and the flywheel spun freely, creating quite a racket and shutting me down for the day. I've replaced the key and I think the flywheel came loose because I hadn't tightened it down enough. Is this a logical assumption or could this be something more ominous?
