Hello all new here have lots of questions. Have really enjoyed reading all of you rebuilds so thought I'd start my own thread. any just inherited a 1972 18' starcraft offshore. My father in law bought it new in 72 then he sold it.10 years later he seen it setting in a field with weeds all grown around it and bought it back in 98. He had a new floor and transom put in and painted. Now in 2014 it needs it again. My first question is how do you up load pics?

Welcome cowherd! I use a photobucket account and insert the link.

So, get your picture on the web, then you can use the URL from the picture and use the image button.

Re: 1972 offshore rebuild

In photobucket, there's an IMG code for each pix. It looks something like this:
IMG]http://i1246.photobucket.com/albums/gg618/other%20people%20boats%20or%20pix%20info/DSC01006_zps6383e7a8.jpg[/IMG

Copy & paste the IMG code in your posts, and the pix appear in your posts, like this:

Early, really early, tin hydroplane, w/ a single step hull. Rumor has it that it was once an I/O, and it's only a 10ft'r...... Side 'sponsons' appear to have fuel fills on them..........

hey cowherd!

On the box you type in to post a reply.... click top right button that looks like a capital A with a line under it. That will give you another menu area to select the image icon which is the 3rd button from right to left (looks like a landscape)

Now go to photobucket and select the Direct where it says "links to share this photo" and paste that into URL area (from the landscape button) here on the forum.

This is exactly how I was doing it before the forum change, but was using the URL code instead of the Direct.

Hope this helps
