awesome! thanks allbutwet your design does appear to have the same hull design!! i cant wait to read your thread.. i will also put you down as one of the people to ask questions on the topic when i come towards glassing it.. if thats ok with you...
so far i got Woodonglass who has been extremely helpful in sending me PM's about certain tips and stuff so the more feedback the better. Thanks once again and stay tuned.. i got some updates im gonna post tonight.

wow its been quite a ride so far... most of the engine parts are here now... just waiting for the snow to melt so i can finally work in the damn cold garage...

I was out there today and decided how well A poly abrasive brush would do in respect to removing paint from the volvo penta drive and how it would affact the surface of the aluminum... here is the video

Okie Dokie Folks.. as per some other forums.. I have figured out alot and am still learning..
Here is the latest Update on my restore.
I have just received the mysterious pipe that was screwed up on the cylinder head...
I got a new (used) one in the mail.

I probably should get all of my priorities straight.. since im jumping all over the place but i also sent my prop in for Rework... Results will be on Friday

Got a call from the prop shop they told me that i dont have to worry about it until i get it on the outdrive, but i may need to replace the Prop hub? because its sorta wobbling... im going to take initiative and get it replaced right after they are done rebuilding the prop, that way i wont have to worry about it... better safe than sorry.

Sending out the Steering Helmet & Outdrive Transmission cap to get bead blasted so i can paint those first to see the outcome of the paint that i have... will post after pictures when they come back.

I already tried removing the paint with my own methods on the transmission cap... but its ok if this one doesnt work out ok.. than i have another one from the good drive that i will do correctly...
I like to have a junk drive to mess around with stuff before i do it to the real one..

and just a heads up for everyone... i know everything is completely jumbled... as i have to many fingers in the pie... (doing many things at once)
When this project is complete i will post a new post with everything correctly so people can follow along easier.. thanks

there is some slight pitting but i knew it was going to be a possiblity and i am ok with it...

I positioned them as best i could like they were when i took the before pictures... so hope that helps..

Now that these were down to raw aluminum... I begun the Prep & Painting Process... less pictures but mostly video....
i got overspray on my expensive camera!! darn

I already painted the peices I prepped it per the standard aluminum prep instructions using alumna prep and alodine I can provide links tommarow as I am using iPhone and it's a pain to type... Than I coated with two coats of zinc chromate primer than three costs of sx silver paint here is result
