Good thing you're going with a bimini top. My butt is burning just looking at those dark blue seats :) Everything looks great.

A bimini is not even an option here, it is a must! LOL the top is probably going to be blue as-well, as I do not like the way white tops get so dirty, then they look grey or yellow, blue will fade w/ time, however unless something drastic happens it will remain blue, lol just lighter shades of it.

aw, yeah a little more everyday, I just added some more deck repairs on the top cap, so that is going to postpone my H2O date', but when im finished w/ it, it will last another twenty years.

Anyone have any insight or ideas for lighting up the interior, I need some inside lighting, not too crazy i.e. pimp my ride lighting lol, just something that produces plenty of light for an affordable cost, that doesnt look to shabby either if possible????

All and any suggestions welcome, Thank's in Advance

I guess you would know lol, you have quite a bit of blue on your seats as-well!

But your also on the Eastcoast w/ humidity, and Im here by the Hoover Dam w/ 0 humidity and plus hundred temperatures. im pretty climatized, but this heat can get to anyone, lol every summer on our local news 20-50 people passing out, and suffereing from heat exhaustion all over the vegas strip, LOL party have a great time, however in the process try not to forget H2O is essential for life......but never fails every summer some Tourist almost dies or does die.

I don't think "seat heat" :) has anything to do with humidity! I'm going fishing with my dad after work today and I'm bumming that my new job has me at work over an hour later than my old one. I'm still hoping to be on the water by 5:30 but it will probably be closer to 6. I used to get out of work at 2:45! Ah I miss that. Course I could barely afford the gas on what I was making there so everything's a trade off.

Not that one thing relates to the other, I figured I'd just mention it anyway, ummmm' primarirly due to it sucking so much !!!!!

I guess perspective plays a mojor key here too, in my opinion it has everything to do with it, those seats are moist, the only thing keeping seats out here moist is armor-all and human presperation, thanks for the key tip'

Re: 1976 tri-hull project

Ok, another day, lol another dollar

anyway down to business, we got the outdrive installed and sealed, we got new belts and new h20 hose, we got new aluminum for the dash panel, then my lil bro went to work on the cap, we re-inforced underneath the open bow added new lumber, we repaiered numerous cracks and dings and one major stress point, after that we applied new glass, let dry, sanded, then applied evercoat, let dry, then sanded and now the entire top is prep to be shot with gelcoat cannot wait to see that.

here you can have a peek w/ a slide show~nice*

but, in the meanwhile another tease~~~

for interior lights you could do LED light strips. i'm pretty sure you can get tem in those water proof tubes and you could line the inside sides of your boat with it

Sounds good, but how durable would it be? I want something that will last and be hella bright so I can see anything.

Not those specificly, but some kind of LED might be alright, but honestly I'd suffice with just some regular lighting that provided plenty of light. im not sure if you are making another automotive pun or not, but just the same, I am certain auto-zone will not one of my stops while gathering supplies, no more than say the sears tire center, but man everytime you reply I LOL :D

There is this custom boat place that does speakers and lighting, I do not know if they sell thier supplies or not, but I'll be checking into it tomorrow.

Well yesterday was kinda BS, got a little bit done, but deffinately not enough to write home about, filled sommore holes on the cap with evercoat, lol got fed-up said the hell w/ it, and stripped the entire cap and began prepping for evercoat and primer, then finally gelcoat.

Re: 1976 tri-hull project

yesterday was dedicated to the top cap, we continued filling holes with evercoat, there were numerous holes and stress cracks throughout the entire cap, after we filled and fixed all the little holes and stress cracks, we (lil bro and I) then spent the rest of the evening sanding the entire top with p 80, today spray on primer, then after sanding that down, BAM gelcoat, We really put alot of work into the top-cap. she is almost there, and I cannot wait.

~ Take a look in my photobucket, if you would like to view more progress ~

It's all about the prep work and you're doing a great job. I forget, is the rest of the boat already painted? What's the plan for that.
