1977 OMC Seal Kits ?

Boat = 1997 Wellcraft 25.5 Suncruiser with twin Ford 302 (175hp) and OMC out-drives.

Milky fluid (assume water) in foot, upper gear-case (dipstick) and the intermediate housing (the fill plug just below the top of the boot).

Should I jump into replacing all seals that come with the standard seal kits or should I start with just replacing the fill and drain screws along with the plastic and rubber washers ?

I am new to this forum and have enjoyed and learned much - hope to contribute as well.

Im no expert by a long shot but I have a 1981 800 stringer. I have had the upper gear box opened when I did my water pump. If I was you and you have the mechanical ability I would do both,seals and rubber washers,O rings ect.
I replace the gaskets on my fill screws every year.

Hmmmm? My hydro-mech drive is now 27 y's/o. I've never replaced the gaskets on my fill screws.

start by pressure and vacuum testing all 3 compartments.
