My mother in law has a full size poodle. They dont shed thats good but paying to get my dog a haircut is still a little odd to me..

My family had sheep growing up and watching my dad accidentally sheer into their hide was a little unsettling. I'm sure the cost of a hair cut is worth it. 😃

And the SW nothing is different really. I jut cut the center of my old one out so its not taking up so much space. Also cut off a bit out of the front of it so I could put the front piece you see in pics and Im putting a top piece on (pics later workin on gas tank now) to hide all of it. Im annoyed I didnt take a pic before I cut it but if you saw in one of my last posts it wasnt really planned out. I just went and cut it otherwise I may have changed my mind aince Im short on time. If you try it just make sure its wide enough to let the water out of the.. holes in the transom that let water out lol. No idea what they are called

I'll scroll back and compare. I like the idea of the top board to cover and stand on.šŸ‘

Yeap, that's a good idea, under the AL corner platforms on my SS are supported with 1/2" ply and support brackets solid riveted trough the SW and gunnels. The top sides are coated in paint with non skid poly beads so you can stand on them no problem.

I wish I could find more options for plywood =( Ive been EVERYWHERE and all I can find is either 80$ 3/4 inch thats high grade marine or 35$ 3/4 arauco ply and only found at menards.. Not the end of the world by any means Im more irritated by the extra weight than I am about the little bit of lost space. We are looking for a new house on a lake so once we get that Ill be looking at a little bit of a larger boat. When I get that Ill just order a bunch of plywood and take my time on it all. Until then, its this project with what Id call a 75% "the right way" and 25% "hurry the hell up" process.

Anywho, heres a few pics. Ill get some more but Im absolutely beat and the boat is a huge mess to take pics of the gas tank. Worked 7 days this week, work then boat.. Im beat. Pusher the last couple are just for you. I cut a bit off the front and am going to put a bar across just to have something solid to mount to and support. After that, will be putting ply in front to cover all that up (thats the last pic to show what Im talking about). The pic before that is to show what I cut to make the top board flush and to mate with the board that will be mounted to the transom (4 of those). If none of this makes sense its b/c Im tired lol Im doing the best I can. =D Just to prove my point you can see I started to mount the gas tank the wrong way.. only a couple feet from where the fuel inlet in the SW is going to be. Had to undo it all ans flip it around..

Right here at iboats, I don't stray far from here for my parts if I can help it. I ordered 2 at a time because for some reason they calculated the shipping on all 4 seats as if they were in one large box, it was crazy high priced, maybe a glitch in the ordering system but anyway here they are. (The pic is a link)

They are comfy and I liked the size dimensions to save some room they aren't massive like some seats are.

Nice! Those are nicely priced as well. May be looking at grabbing those myself. Lot of color options as well

I tried it on my last order but they had free shipping so I opted for that instead =) I am impressed with the iboats shipping! Free shipping standard ground.. ordered Friday and getting it all today! They had all of my parts the day after but it was Sat and the UPS store in my area was closed so could have possibly had them as soon as next day. Thats crazy!

EDIT: Actually just checked (not home, at work) but the packages were just delivered! :D

Hey thanks Pntbtr! I think I follow you on all that. It is looking real sturdy, and I like the idea of the reinforcement channel. This might sound wierd and defeat the purpose of the flat surface to stand on, but you could mount some of that new rod holder channel to the top as reinforcement.........*Goes to find a google image*

I will be mounting rod holders to the face of the SW. I run 2 rods straight out back about 2-300 feet. Guess I could move them forward I did buy some new flush mount rod holders.. Ill have to think abiut that a bit. Ill be pulling all nighters the next couple of days so Ill have plenty of time to think on it lol. Literally just finished the gas tank completely and got my 2nd trolling battery mounted, pedestals came in today so I got the reinforment mounts drilled. So much to do left :-(

Got a bit done last night. Went to bed at 2am and got back up for work at 7am and probably doing the same tonight. Got my rivets in today and last shipment of supplies so tonight will try to get some pink down in the back and get the back floor bolted down along with the extra bilge, splashwell, rest of the wiring, and hopefully finish the last bit of epoxy. Now that I have the rivets and rest of supplies I can really get going. One pic of the dash with gauges is just a test. It was a draft cut I wanted to see what the colors looked like. I may put the gauges on the dash for now but I started making a custom gauge mount to install on top of my console. Not sure if Ill have time to finish that so Ill just have to redo the dash later on. Not too big of a deal the dash isnt terribly hard to remove. But, I do like the color. Its 3M matte black vinyl. I will be getting some plexiglass tonight after work and screwing that into the dash, then applying the vinyl to make it nice and smooth. You can also see my amazing garage with all the room I have to work with..

Once all that decking goes in you're going to take right off and it won't be long then. Nice to have a place inside to work no matter the size, progress and workmanship is looking good to me!

Got a few things done last night. Another late night til 2AM and up again at 7. 2 more days though and Ill be out early Friday to head over to Saginaw. Had a hell of a time with the fuel hose. ended up drilling a hole under the SW to run it straight up. Theres just no room under there with the floor raised up so not much room to bend the hose at all. But it will be covered up and its under the floor so Im perfectly fine with that. Got the first piece of flooring in, put the wood in to reinforce the seat pedestals, SW painted and started on the SW area. wood has expoxy on it so that will be ready to go when I get home. Also cut and placed the pink devil foam under the floor.. 2nd piece of flooring goes in tonight and the consoles and after that I can run vinyl. Put another coat of paint on the consoles last night as well.

Looking good and it has what looks to be an admiral happy with the outcome too. Hey is that the Rusto Pro light machine gray? If so man that stuff in the rattle can sure is tough to keep from sagging. Maybe it's just me and spray bombs.
